Mary Pat Benz brings a wealth of state and federal trial and appellate court experience to the issues facing her clients in Illinois.
She graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 1978. Before opening her own practice she was an associate and partner during nearly 20 years at Phelan, Pope, and John Ltd., a partner at Quinlan & Crisham, Ltd. for three years, and a litigation partner at Winston & Strawn LLP in Chicago for more than 10 years.
Since opening her own solo practice in 2010, she has focused exclusively on arbitration and mediation, professional responsibility matters, ARDC defense and litigation and appellate work. She has been designated as a Super Lawyer in business litigation every year since 2005.
